TPC Meeting

The TPC meeting is scheduled for November 12, 2011 in New York City at Columbia University, starting at 9:00AM.

This is a very busy time in New York so we urge you to make your plans for your trip as soon as possible. Since New York hotels are very expensive during that time of the year, INFOCOM 2012 has blocked a set of rooms at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott at the Newark airport.

The group rate is $109 USD plus 14% tax per night and includes Internet access. That is at least $200 less than we found elsewhere.

The cutoff date for the block reserved at this rate is Friday, October 21st.

Instructions to reserve a room at the Marriot for the TPC meeting:

Transportation to/from Hotel and TPC Meeting

To make it easy for you to get to Columbia for the TPC meeting, we have arranged for shuttle buses to take you to the meeting on Saturday morning and bring you back to the hotel after the TPC dinner on Saturday evening. There will be no charge to you to use these buses. Those who are not staying at the Marriott will have to find alternative transportation to the meeting.

The shuttles will start leaving the Marriott at 7:15am with the last one no later than 7:45am.  There will be a dinner Saturday night.  More details on that will be posted later.

Meanwhile, to help us in our planning, please respond on EDAS by Friday, September 23rd, and tell us if you are definitely coming, considering coming, or definitely will not be able to attend.

If you are coming or considering coming, please tell us if you will be staying at the Newark Airport Marriott.  In addition, please use EDAS to confirm that you are definitely coming to the TPC meeting and attending (or not) the TPC dinner, once you make the decision. You can do this by logging into EDAS, clicking on "My TPCs" tab, and then editing the "TPC meeting" option for INFOCOM'2012.
